A snapshot of our year.
What can we say about 2019? We've been on some truly memorable adventures, spent time wisely fireside with old friends, honed our crafts and gained a deeper perspective for why we're doing this. For those that have been on the journey with us, supported the cause and shared the good vibes in 2019. To you we raise a tin mug; here's to many more... | | "There's a place far from here, beyond the seas and over countless mountain ranges where time has little meaning. A place wild at heart, unfamiliar and remote in the truest sense. Friends of Passenger AJ Roulstone and Christine set out in search of a place beyond the everyday..." | | True to our roots now and always, in 2019 Passenger planted 51,915 trees and became Patrons of The Rainforest Trust. We joined their conservation circle, dedicated to saving rainforests all over the world. Our Re-Roam initiative launched jackets and boardshorts from recycled single use plastic bottles. We also reduced waste by 70% by introducing caps and knitwear made from recycled cotton to name a few. | | We launched our most sustainable (and best) product ever: As a part of our Re-Roam initiative, the men's Patrol and women's Jackpine jackets are made with 100% recycled polyester from 21 plastic bottles. Better still, they're totally PFC-free, using a chemical free waterproofing instead. | | "After graduation I wanted to take a break, find some escapism. So I thought, what better place to do so than in a van around Australia..." | | | | The newest member of the Passenger team is a real veteran of the road. A nomad at heart with serious miles under her belt and destined for many more journeys into the unknown. Meet Old Piney, a legendary 89' Talbot Autosleeper with road trip heritage and a longing to explore... | | A feel-good documentary short about a boy who loves breakfast, Rhianna, and finding the freedom of a wave... | | Few can say they've stared down the lens at moments and waves as epic as Russell. A master of the still image and with a world of tales to tell, we're fired up to welcome Russell Ord to the Passenger family. Awesome things to come in 2020... | | For those that reach for the sweet treats after a day of roaming. Seasonal peaches with a smoky sweet caramel and pecan glaze, all cooked up in the embers of a beach fire. | | "From Morocco to Mullaghmore, Vancouver to Kimmeridge Bay, we've heard some truly inspiring stories and perspectives this year. In no particular order, here's my favourite tales from the dusty trail in 2019…" | | | | Not getting the emails you want?
