Some things were made for the road. Ever been on a road trip without a pack? Or roaming without a travel case? We have, and it was a hassle — small things lost, the van a bit of a mess. Sure, any adventure is a good one, but there's a lot to be said for bringing along the right tools for the job. In this case, the job is "escapism," and the "right tools" are solid packs and staples for keeping things dialled on the road. Fact is, we couldn't find a collection of packs that quite fit the bill for what we were looking for. Something burly enough to survive weeks on the road and the rigours of daily commutes. Timeless enough that we dug hauling it when back on grid. Packable to keep easily-lost small essentials in one place. Roomy enough for day trips, but not so huge to make loading the van a hassle.
So, we designed our own. Enter the Pioneer backpack, Escape It All duffle, and Fieldnote travel case — our first ever collection of packs. Designed to wander, made to roam, these built to last beauties earned permanent places in the Passenger van almost immediately. |
